Properties: Brown, blue-green or green powder. Absorbs water in moist air to form the tetrahydrate.

Properties: Pale-blue needles or blue-green plates. Blue-green modification loses water on standing in air. Sol in water, alcohol, NH4OH.
 
Use: In the separation of monoolefinic from di- or polyolefinic hydrocarbons.
