Properties: Colorless, clear liquid; balsamic odor; terebinthinate taste. d1515 0.869-0.875. aD20 -20 to -59°. Insol in water. Sol in 5 vols 90% alc, in ether. Keep well closed, cool and protected from light.

Use: Pharmaceutic aid (flavor and perfume).
