Properties: Crystals, mp 118-120°. Vapor pressure at 20°: 1´10-6 mm Hg. Soly in water at 20°: 48 ppm. Readily sol in org solvents. Stable in neutral or slightly acid or alkaline media. Hydrolyzed under stronger acidic or basic conditions. LD50 orally in rats: 3.75 g/kg (Geigy). LC50 (96 hour) in bluegill sunfish, rainbow trout (ppm): 10.0, 2.5 (Tweedy, Kahrs).
