Almost insol in n-propanol, acetone, chloroform, benzene, ethyl acetate. LD50 in male, female mice, male, female rats (mg/kg): 7900, 8000, 6000, 6200 i.v.; 9600, 10000, 7200, 7500 i.p.; 11500, 13500, 11000, 11800 s.c.; 11000, 10500, 8300, 8600 i.m.; all >15000 orally (Murata).
