Properties: Needles from water. mp 186-187.5°. Sublimes above mp. Slightly sol in cold water, appreciably sol in hot water and in alcohol. Freely sol in acids and alkalies.
Melting point: mp 186-187.5°
Use: Detection of cadmium, copper, iron, lead, mercury, silver, thallium; quantitative determination of copper.
