| Title:  Ammonium Sulfide Solution, Yellow Additional Names:  Ammonium bisulfide soln;  ammonium sulfhydrate soln;  ammonium hydrosulfide soln Literature References:  Contains 8-9% NH3 and about the same percentage of sulfur, corresponding to 16-20% as (NH4)2S. Properties:  When freshly made it is an almost colorless liquid, but soon acquires a yellow color which intensifies with age, due to formation of some polysulfide.
