Properties: Pale yellow crystals, mp 167-169°. Soly in water (at pH 6.5) ~2.9 mg/ml at room temp. More sol in acid solns. Unstable in alkaline solns. pKa 1.2. Freely sol in acetone. Sol in methanol, ethanol, chloroform and ethyl acetate.
