Properties: Hygroscopic crystals or cryst powder. Dec on heating above 160°. Very sol in water; sol in methanol, ethanol, acetone. Keep well closed.
 
Use: In manuf of acrylonitrile polymers; for parchmentizing; for stiffening of textiles; soln as a solvent for textiles.
